He’s patient, professional, very talented, and his unique teaching methods have managed to sort out virtually every single problem with my driving I’d picked up from my first instructor. I passed the first time I took the test with him because taught me new and better ways of doing things that I thought I “knew” how to do but still caused me trouble, and the difference it’s made to my overall driving is unbelievable. 
He has his own comprehensive method of tracking pupils’ progress, so it’s clear what exactly needs to be improved, and how, to be ready and able to pass the test. He also has a system where his pupils swap places with each other when they’re ready to take the test, which means almost as soon as you’re ready, you can take the test. After going with an instructor who really didn’t put me at ease when driving and didn’t help me to pass my test, I was determined to find a new instructor who I not only could get on with, but who helped me learn techniques in a relaxed and calm way – that’s exactly how Jamie operates, he makes driving fun and makes you feel that mistakes aren’t the end of the world, they’re just things to overcome which can be done easily and with practice. After only around 6 lessons with Jamie, I managed to pass my test with only a couple of minors. After having a couple of lessons that completely knocked my confidence a few years ago, Jamie eased all my nerves and worries at the end of last year by being so calm and chilled with me. The best way to learn has been with someone who’s super passionate about what they do and explain it to you in the best detail, but has so much patience and encouragement to give you along the way. He has a booklet that he gave me with everything I needed to know in order to be a good driver and he explained it all thoroughly with me on a weekly basis, which all has really played a part in my driving ability. Giving me a pack of his crisps from his meal deal is also one of my best highlights. Driving feels like second nature to me now thanks to how confident he has made me, and today I passed first time! Jamie is an amazing driving instructor, I was recommended by my sister who passed her test first time round.
He is patient, very throurogh and concise in the way he teaches whilst still being passionate about his job. I felt ready and was well prepared for my test.
